The Spoke Method
How We’re Different
INTENTIONAL TRAINING
Every class is thoughtfully designed to challenge you without breaking you.
SMART INTENSITY
We balance effort and recovery so progress feels sustainable, not exhausting.
CONSISTENCY OVER BURNOUT
The goal isn’t just today’s workout — it’s showing up again tomorrow.
TOGETHER IN MOTION
You don’t do this alone. Community, energy, and shared momentum matter here.
What is Spoke?
STRENGTH
A targeted strength training class focused on building muscle, improving stability, and increasing functional strength through intentional resistance work. A focused 50-minute strength workout designed to challenge you.
CYCLE
Lights low. Music loud. 45 minutes of rhythm-based riding, beat-driven choreography, and the best cardio party in Philly.
HOW IT WORKS
Whether you’re here to ride, lift, or do both, every Spoke class is designed to make you stronger, sweatier, and leave feeling good.
HYBRID – Two modalities. One workout.
Our signature Hybrid classes combine rhythm-driven cycling with strength or sculpt work for a full-body experience.
You’ll start on the bike, riding to the beat with lights low and music loud. Halfway through class, you’ll transition to the floor for intentional strength or sculpt work designed to challenge your body in a different way.
Cycle x Strength pairs high-output riding with progressive resistance training.
Cycle x Sculpt pairs rhythm-based cycling with low-impact, high-rep sculpt work.
STRENGTH – 50 minutes. All strength.
A focused strength-training workout designed to build muscle, improve stability, and increase functional strength through intentional resistance work.
No bike. No switching. Just 50 minutes of purposeful strength training.
CYCLE – 45 minutes. All ride.
Lights low. Music loud. 45 minutes of rhythm-based riding, beat-driven choreography, and high-energy cardio. Come for the workout. Stay for the party.
Choose your workout. Find your rhythm.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Spoke Society?
Spoke Society is a rhythm-driven fitness studio in Fishtown built around three ways to move: Cycle, Strength, and Hybrid.
We combine the energy of a cycling studio with the intention of strength training to create workouts that challenge you, move you, and keep you coming back. Ride to the beat in our 45-minute Cycle classes, build muscle and functional strength in our focused 50-minute Strength classes, or or experience our signature Hybrid workouts combining Cycle x Strength or Cycle x Sculpt.
Every class is thoughtfully programmed to build endurance, strength, power, and control – with music, movement, and community at the center of it all.
Come for the workout. Stay for the energy. Find your Spoke.
What makes Spoke different from other studios?
Why do days of the week focus on different muscle groups?
Each day at Spoke Society is designed with purpose. Our strength training focuses on a specific muscle group like upper body, lower body, or full body to help you train smarter and recover stronger. This approach maximizes results while keeping your workouts balanced and safe. It’s about giving every muscle the attention it deserves so you can move better, feel stronger, and stay consistent.
Do I need experience to take class?
Not at all. Whether it’s your first class or part of your weekly routine, our instructors guide every room with clarity and energy. You can move at your own pace while still feeling part of the collective.
Will there be amenities like showers and shoe rentals?
Yes. Expect an elevated studio experience complete with showers, lockers, and shoe rentals available for every ride. There’s also a smoothie bar for you to recharge after your workout.
What should I bring to class?
Bring water and clothes you can move in comfortably. Cycling shoes are available for rent and towels are provided in studio.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before class, especially for your first visit. That gives you time to check in, get set up, and settle into the space before class begins.
Are you hiring?
Absolutely — we’re always looking for passionate, community-driven people to join the team. If you’re interested in coaching, front-desk, or community roles, send your resume to careers@spoke-society.com.
