The Spoke Method
How We’re Different
INTENTIONAL TRAINING
Every class is thoughtfully designed to challenge you without breaking you.
SMART INTENSITY
We balance effort and recovery so progress feels sustainable, not exhausting.
CONSISTENCY OVER BURNOUT
The goal isn’t just today’s workout — it’s showing up again tomorrow.
TOGETHER IN MOTION
You don’t do this alone. Community, energy, and shared momentum matter here.
What is Spoke?
CYCLE x STRENGTH
Rhythm-driven riding that pulls you into the music, paired with strength work that makes you feel powerful, grounded, and capable. You’ll push when the beat rises, recover with intention, and leave feeling worked, not wiped.
CYCLE x SCULPT
A smoother, more controlled, Pilates-inspired ride that moves with the music and lets you settle into the burn. Expect steady rhythm, focused movement, and a strong, balanced feeling that stays with you long after class ends.
HOW IT WORKS
Each class is split between the bike and the floor.
- The bike is where rhythm-driven riding lives, guided by the music and the instructor.
- The floor is where strength and sculpt work happen, focused on controlled, intentional movement.
You can start on either station. Halfway through class, you’ll switch so everyone experiences both.
Prefer to stay in one place? You can double on the floor or the bike and complete the full class from a single station.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Spoke Society?
Spoke Society is Fishtown’s first Cycle x Strength studio. A rhythm-driven fitness experience that blends the energy of indoor cycling with the power of strength training. Each 50-minute class alternates between time on the bike and targeted floor work, delivering a full-body, low-impact workout that builds endurance, strength, and connection. Every day focuses on different muscle groups to promote balance, prevent injury, and keep the results coming. All powered by music, movement, and community.
What makes Spoke different from other studios?
Why do days of the week focus on different muscle groups?
Each day at Spoke Society is designed with purpose. Our strength training focuses on a specific muscle group like upper body, lower body, or full body to help you train smarter and recover stronger. This approach maximizes results while keeping your workouts balanced and safe. It’s about giving every muscle the attention it deserves so you can move better, feel stronger, and stay consistent.
Do I need experience to take class?
Not at all. Whether it’s your first class or part of your weekly routine, our instructors guide every room with clarity and energy. You can move at your own pace while still feeling part of the collective.
Will there be amenities like showers and shoe rentals?
Yes. Expect an elevated studio experience complete with showers, lockers, and shoe rentals available for every ride. There’s also a smoothie bar for you to recharge after your workout.
What should I bring to class?
Bring water and clothes you can move in comfortably. Cycling shoes are available for rent and towels are provided in studio.
How early should I arrive?
We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before class, especially for your first visit. That gives you time to check in, get set up, and settle into the space before class begins.
Are you hiring?
Absolutely — we’re always looking for passionate, community-driven people to join the team. If you’re interested in coaching, front-desk, or community roles, send your resume to info@spokesociety.com.
